Raising African's Next Leaders​

Cohort 2

LYLA Cohort 2 focused on children from the inner city slums of Ibadan with its venue at Local Government Building, Mapo Hall. The cohort ran for 3 weeks and in attendance were 50 students.

The inner city slums in Ibadan like many others in developing nations are mostly inhabited by citizens living below the economic standard of living leaving a large percentage of the young boys resulting to hooliganism and thuggery and many of the young girls ending up with teenage pregnancy, child labor etc

The Academy kicked off March 15,2021 at Mapo Hall with the vision to raise next African leaders from young adults living in the inner city slum of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria for three weeks

LYLA Cohort 2 enrolled 50 students into the academy; 27 boys and 23girls. The cohort saw the students through the three major curriculum; Leadership and Social Development, Public Administration and Entrepreneurship with an additional modules on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and Model United Nations
